Lubbock Christian University Firefly Use Case

“So far, we have found great success in utilizing the firefly for swelling
management in injured athletes. I have an athlete that had medial ankle
surgery 2 weeks ago and cannot do exercises as he has been in cast since
surgery. We have had him wearing the firefly for a couple hours each
day on the involved side only. The athlete began to note that his cast was
getting loose in just under 1 week compared to constantly feeling tight.
When this athlete saw his doctor for his 2 week follow up, he had to get
his cast changed. The doctor said that he was ahead of schedule and
would likely be out of his cast earlier than expected due to how well his
ankle looked with using the firefly!”
